a mother and two children. it happened on crest view drive in pittsburgh. alex savage is there to tell us about the discovery which could lead to an arrest, alex? >> reporter: investigators were able to find the car they believed was involved in the crash but the driver is nowhere to be found. a mother and two children were making their way across and came here to crest view drive and they were in this crosswalk when the car ploughed into them. it is unclear how fast the driver was going but neighbors say cars are always speeding around here. this was the scene after the crash around 6:00 last night and one of those children was airlifted by paramedics to a nearby hospital. another small child was put into an ambulance and driven to the hospital. the woman was also taken to the hospital by ambulance but we do not have information about their specific injuries. now the car that hit the woman and two kids drove off after the accident and police found it abandoned just up the road but the driver is still on the loose this morning. neighbors are not surprised by this crash. one neighbor said

is on bourbon street tonight. ken tells us it is a mad house there right now. >> a mystery as to the body of a teenage girl was found. her body was discovered at alan witt park. you've gotten new information from business police about that body that was found. >> reporter: we just talked to fairfield police who are in town because of this case. they confirmed that the body found was that of a girl who was reported missing yesterday evening about 5:45. this is a park where she was found. sheps found over there in that parking area kind of near the garbage cans down there. police are try to figure out exactly what happened and who indeed she was. they're not confirming exactly who she was to us. we are at alan witt community park. it was about 6:45 this morning when a passer by spotted the body and reported it to police. the parking lot and park was cordoned off. police would not describe the body other than to say there were no obvious signs of trauma. this afternoon they did say her body was found naked. they add that she was light skinned and could have been anywhere between 12 and 19 ye

of us sinking into the supper 20s to low 30s. we'll talk about the slight warmup expected for the afternoon coming up. >>> we are following developing news out of san francisco. police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened just a few hours ago. they tell us a man was shot in the city's western edition. alex savidge is live there now. what can you tell us so far? >> reporter: we are getting very limited information from police this morning. that is because it's so early on in this investigation. a sergeant that was out here confirmed a man was shot and killed. he was found right over near this corner. near the intersection of hayes and webster. an anonymous caller reported gunfire in this area around 2:00 this morning. we'll show you that video. officers were out here for most of the morning. police tell us the victim was rushed to the hospital after suffering at least one gunshot wound. he died there from his injuries. homicide investigators searching for the shooter involved here. a sergeant told me they don't have a description on the person to put out. in ju
